Cerne Abbas Giant

In a recent publicity stunt to promote The Simpsons Movie in the UK a huge Homer Simpson was drawn next to the 180 foot high chalk figure of the Cerne Abbas Giant. The Cerne Abbas Giant is a hill figure of a large rather well endowed naked man. The giant Homer Simpson (coyly wearing y-fronts) is seen in the act of trying to throw a doughnut and hoop a certain part of the giant's anatomy.

The Cerne Abbas Giant is just one of a number of large Bronze Age chalk figures that are carved into hills in the UK. Google Sightseeing currently has a post linking to a number of them on Google Maps.
