YouTube in Google Earth - Now why didn't we think of that?

Since the release of Google Earth 4.2 it has been possible to watch videos from within Google Earth. You can view our 300 hand picked YouTube videos by downloading the Worldwide Videos KML.

Google have caught up and added a YouTube layer to Google Earth. Now any videos that have been geo-tagged in YouTube can be accessed from Google Earth. This of course means that many of the videos aren't videos of the location but were just shot there. For example a video in Google Earth that is placed on the Millennium Dome (see post below) could be a clip of a gig that was held there rather than a video of the dome. Therefore if you are looking of a video of a specific place it is probably best to use our Worldwide Videos KML in conjunction with the new YouTube layer.
